Looking for a job in web? Or maybe your company is looking for people and doesn’t quite know where to start?
This year, alongside the talks, the workshops and a lot of coffee, WordCamp Athens 2026 is also hosting a Career Day. The idea is simple: for two days, on 11 and 12 December at the War Museum, people looking for their next career move and companies looking for new team members will be under the same roof. We’ll just make sure they meet.
Career Day doesn’t have its own schedule and doesn’t take any time away from the talks. It happens where the best conversations at a WordCamp happen anyway: during the breaks, in the coffee queue, at the sponsor stands. Maybe even next to one of the museum’s aeroplanes.
Looking for a job?
You don’t need to be a senior developer. Whether you build websites, do design, marketing or content, have just finished your studies, or freelance and want something more stable, a WordCamp is a great place to get noticed.
Bring your CV. We’ll be collecting CVs at the conference, and online too, through a form we’ll announce soon. So even if you don’t get to talk to everyone, your CV will still end up in the right hands.
Who gets to see it? Only the sponsors of WordCamp Athens 2026. We won’t share it with anyone else.
Start a conversation. Our sponsors will be there on both days. Stop by, ask what they do and who they’re looking for. A friendly “hello” often goes further than a PDF.
All you need is a WordCamp ticket. It already covers two days of talks, lunch, coffee and our t-shirt.
Are you a company?
If you’re looking for developers, designers, marketers or people who really know WordPress, you already know how hard they are to find through job ads. At WordCamp Athens you’ll find them all in one place, for two whole days.
The sponsors of WordCamp Athens 2026 will receive every CV we collect, at the conference and online. Only them. And of course they’ll get to meet candidates in person, before it ever comes to an interview.
If you ask us, that’s a pretty good reason to become a sponsor this year. Especially the year we celebrate 10 years of WordCamp in Greece.
Take a look at our Call for Sponsors or drop us a line and let’s talk.
See you at the War Museum! And don’t forget to have your CV ready. The form will be up soon on this page.
