Thank you for participating.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to share your knowledge, experiences, or story with the WordPress community, you can submit your proposal to speak at WordCamp Athens 2025 by completing the form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may send us more than one proposal if you wish. Please, make sure that you have read the<a href=\"https:\/\/athens.wordcamp.org\/2022\/en\/code-of-conduct\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;code of conduct for participating in a WordCamp<\/a> first. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deadline for submitting an application to speak is <strong>30\/09\/25<\/strong>. Everyone who applied will be notified of the progress of their application after the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-we-are-looking-for\">What we are looking for:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People who love their work and carry it out with care and craftsmanship, people who are experienced and have a deep knowledge of their field, people who have a knack for public speaking. We seek people who can tell a beautiful story!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Topics we seek are (non exclusively)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduction to WordPress and basic knowledge for beginners (and professionals)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Web Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website Design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Front-end)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design (UI\/UX, typography)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blogging, content management, journalism<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing, branding, communication strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility (a11y)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced WordPress topics (themes, plugins, Gutenberg)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BuddyPress, bbPress<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional topics, freelancing, entrepreneurship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case studies &amp; practical examples<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And of course&#8230; something fresh and innovative that we might not have thought of yet!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The call for speakers application form is now closed.
